Your Comfort Plus massage features relaxing, long and fluid Swedish Massage techniques that will gently stretch your muscles to relieve built up tension and tightness. Light to medium pressure is used and I will incorporate hot towels along with heated neck, shoulder, and eye packs to help melt away stress and tension in those areas. I also offer a weighted blanket to make sure you are as relaxed as you can be. Whether you only have time for a 60-minute session or want to treat yourself with an 90 or 120-minute massage, the Comfort Plus massage will help you achieve total relaxation, improve skin and muscle tone, increase circulation, and remove toxins from the body.
Deep Tissue Massage (Myofascial Release)
Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but it goes a bit farther. Deep tissue massage will target the inner layers of your muscles, tendons, and dense connective tissue (also known as fascia). In a deep tissue massage session I use many of the same stroking and kneading movements as in the Signature Relaxation Massage, only I will be using far more pressure. Deep tissue massage is usually best suited for athletes and runners, as well as people dealing with injuries. However, it can also be beneficial for people with chronic pain conditions such as low back pain. This service is most specifically for clients with goals of targeting muscle release and improving flexibility, reducing pain and increasing range of motion.
Similar to deep tissue work, this massage will target areas that have been holding tension and are that are in need of improved flexibility. To be clear - this session will not be a nice relaxing trip to La La Land. You will be communicating throughout the session about pressure and stretching limits, you will be moving around and you will also be an active participant in some of the stretches. You will also most likely get recommended “homework” to maintain the work performed during the session. People who come in for sports massage should also be prepared to come more regularly than other clients. 1-2 times per week until desired outcome is achieved is what I usually recommend.
Still can’t decide which service is right for you? The good news is – you don’t have to pick just one. The customized session allows you to have a little bit of everything. You design and tailor-make your own treatment by telling me what you need worked on and how you want it done. We will begin with a consultation so you can let me know what pressure you prefer, what area you would like to concentrate on and what you are looking to get out of your session. This is usually an integrative session ranging from light to deep pressure; customized for your relaxation or muscle tuning. Swedish-style massage, therapeutic deep tissue techniques and sports massage are usually all incorporated into this session.
CBD massages provide one of the easiest ways to take advantage of all the benefits offered by CBD such as: reduction of inflammation, reduction of anxiety, pain relief and improvement of certain skin conditions. CBD massage creams and oils are inherently therapeutic for both the mind and the body. All of my CBD massages are done using both topical and transdermal products from Mary’s Nutritionals. Mary’s uses whole plant hemp extract which is a combination of the most prevalent therapeutic, activated compounds in the hemp plant. Mary’s is also the developer of the first transdermal patch enriched with activated hemp extract, patented transdermal gel pen technology and award winning topicals. Mary’s is 100% organic grown in the U.S. ensured to be clean and free of harmful chemicals, solvents, heavy metals and pesticides unlike hemp materials sourced from over seas. CBD can be added on to any length session. 60 minute - $110 | 90 minute - $145 | 120 minute - $190
You may also want to consider adding Cupping to your CBD massage for better absorption of products. You can add body cupping to any 90 or 120 minute CBD session for an additional $5. Vacuum Cupping Through suction created by a vacuum pump, this form of cupping will help with pain, inflammation, movement of stagnate blood and lymph, relaxation and well-being, hydration and nourishment of tissue, and can also be used as a form of deep-tissue massage. Vacuum cupping is a combination of body cupping in a focused area along with deep tissue massage techniques. This session is offered in 60, 90 or 120 minute sessions. 60 minute - $95 | 90 minute - $135 | 120 minute - $175
Massage Cupping With massage cupping you will get all the same benefits as with vacuum cupping, except silicone cups are used for a more gentle experience. Instead of creating a vacuum and leaving the cups in a stationary position, the silicone cups are moved around after the vacuum has been created allowing the tissue and fascia to be gently lifted and pulled, but still giving a massage like feeling with powerful results. This session is offered in 60, 90, or 120 minute sessions. 60 minute - $95 | 90 minute - $135 | 120 minute - $175
Facial Cupping Do you suffer from TMJ? Want to smooth away scars, fine lines, and wrinkles? Want to boost collagen and elastin naturally? Want to refine those enlarged pores? How about decreasing puffiness and brightening your skin? Facial cupping is much gentler than body cupping and will not leave any of the marks you might get from other cupping methods. This is a 30 minute service and can be added on to any 60 or 90 minute massage session. 60 minute massage + 30 minutes of facial cupping - $130 90 minute massage + 30 minutes of facial cupping - $175
